Kitsune Noir
Kitsune Noir is a mash-up of a Japanese and a French word. Kitsune means “fox” in Japanese, and Noir is “black” in French, so roughly Kitsune Noir means “Black Fox”. There’s no real reason behind the name, I just have a strong interest in both Japanese and French cultures, and I wanted the blog to have a cool name, so there you go.
This blog has actually been in the works since I was in high school… well, kind of. I’d always wanted my own website, so I started messing around with Geocities way back in the day, later tried to teach myself HTML and Flash to no avail, but finally in April of 2007 I found my niche and the blog has been going strong ever since. I’m the sole writer, artist, photographer, designer of this blog, it’s totally become my baby and I can’t imagine not writing or creating things in here. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do.
