As a content provider of content which could be available in digital form, think of the following simple things:
- Every form of protection can be cracked.
- Every form of protection WILL be cracked.
- Copying the (cracked) content costs people nothing.
- If people want the content, they WILL be able to get it. For FREE.
- So give the content away and simply make it EASY for them to pay you for your troubles.
- If your content is worth it, they will pay for it.
- If your content is not worth it, would they have bought it knowing it would not be worth it?
