Changelog

10 February 2008: New subdomain name.

3 January 2008: New colour scheme.

  • Switched over to a new colour scheme. The center part is now lighter than the outside, instead of the other way around.
  • Updated the about page to give a better list of Tech used on Narnach's Links.

26 December 2007: Nginx and SQLite.

  • Switched from Lighttpd + Fastcgi and MySql to Nginx + Mongrel and SQLite. The server loves the drastically reduced memory usage.
  • Updated about page to list a number of tools and software things I have used over the last year or so.

12 October 2007: About page.

  • Added an about page with a short description of the website and its purpose.
  • Added a footer, so people know who to complain to about this website (or give praise).

20 August 2007: A new view for the links.

  • There is now a list of Most liked links.
  • The old links list has been renamed to Most recent links.

11 August 2007: Comments have gotten some love.

  • There is now a comments page, which displays all comments posted by users.
  • The user profile page link list has moved to its own page.
  • From a user's profile page you can now go to a page with all comments made by that user.
  • You can now remove your own links.

7 August 2007: Last week brought a number of small changes to the look and feel of the website.

  • The link lists have more items on a page, direct links showing, as well as a second paginator when needed.
  • The link detail page had some small changes for clarity.
  • Editing a link you posted is no longer a 'hidden' feature. The link was missing and that's fixed now. You can find it on the link detail page, below the description.
  • The new link (and edit link) pages now have larger input fields, which show properly Opera 9, Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 6.

28 July 2007: There have been a lot of changes to the website in the last few days, which is a nice side-effect my vacation.

  • The layout and color scheme have been re-done. The old brownish skin was getting boring. Blue looks fresh.
  • A simple rating system has been added for links. It's similar to the one used on Digg, because I like it and it's what people will probably be familiar with.
  • Comments have been added for links. It's simple, but it works for me.
  • There's now a search function because there's enough links to get lost in them.
  • The tagcloud link size algorithm has changed a bit resulting in a better looking cloud.
